Richard Wiener (Ph.D., University of Houston; M.L.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln). Director of the Law/Psychology Program. Interests: Sociolegal jurisprudence; sexual harassment; jury decision making; judicial decision making; death penalty.

Brian Bornstein (Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania; M.L.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln). Associate Director of the Law/Psychology Program. Interests: Eyewitness reliability; jury decision making, especially regarding damages, and the effects of expert and eyewitness testimony; distributive justice; medical decision making.

Robert Schopp (J.D., University of Arizona; Ph.D. (psychology), North Carolina State; Ph.D. (philosophy), University of Arizona). Professor of psychology and Professor of law, with primary appointment in the College of Law. Professor Schopp assists with routine administrative issues of the Program as it relates to the College of Law. Interests: Criminal responsibility and defenses; conceptual and normative issues in mental health law and criminal law; therapeutic jurisprudence.

Mario Scalora (Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln). Faculty member of both the Clinical and Law/Psychology Programs. Interests: Characteristics and treatment of sexual offenders; risk assessment; regulation of services for children; mentally disordered offenders.

Cynthia Willis-Esqueda (Ph.D., University of Kansas). Interests: Social psychology and the law; racism and sexism; ethnic studies; domestic violence; sexual assault.

Jennifer Hunt (Ph.D., University of Minnesota). Interests: Influence of culture, race, and gender on legal participation; juror decision making; the influence of interviewing techniques on eyewitness testimony; stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination.

Brian Wilcox (Ph.D., University of Texas). Director of the Center on Children, Families, and the Law. Interests: Adolescent risk taking; policy analysis; HIV/AIDS prevention; social effects of media on children; child welfare systems.

Alan Tomkins (J.D., Ph.D., Washington University). Professor of psychology with primary appointment in the Department of Psychology. Currently serving as Director of the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center. Interests: Judicial administration; predictions of violence risk; court decisionmaking about treatment for children and youth; prejudice and discrimination; the use of social science evidence in the legal system.

John Flowers (Ph.D., Yale University). Interests: Human information processing; attention; implicit learning; and the perception of structure.

Victoria Weisz (Ph.D., University of Rochester; M.L.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln). Interests: Development of child interviewing and assessment skills; assessment of judicial functioning regarding maltreated children; establishment of a safe; child-friendly environments for interviews and medical examinations of child abuse victims; evaluation of the experience of child victim; psychosocial risks and benefits to child bone marrow donors.

Richard Dienstbier (Ph.D., University of Rochester). Interests: Moral development; personality; emotion.

Calvin Garbin (Ph.D., University of Texas-Arlington). Interests: Cognitive psychology; multivariate analysis.

Will Spaulding (Ph.D., University of Arizona). Interests: Various aspects of schizophrenia and other severe disorders, including clinical and experimental psychopathology; the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation and service systems and social policy.

Robert Belli (Ph.D., University of New Hampshire). Interests: False memories; role of leading misinformation on memory and report.
